Title I Information

Title I is a Federal Program that is designed "to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging state academic achievement standards and state academic assessments."

At Rice our Title I Program funds:

- Reduced Classroom Size Teachers

- Literacy Coaches and Parent Nights

Each parent will receive a Parent Calendar for the current school year during orientation. This calendar provides important information about the importance of your involvement in your child's education.  Information about Title I regulations and parenting events are also included.
