Oakland Elementary School was renamed Eleanor S. Rice Elementary School to honor longtime principal Eleanor S. Rice and the lasting legacy she created within our school community. Her name represents a legacy of hope, love, compassion, and steady leadership—values that continue to guide us today. In her honor, we strive to spread positivity, kindness, and healing throughout our halls and within our entire school community.
